ARP initiates the planning for any training/capacity building activity by an assessment of the current situation and needs of the target groups. The training content is tailored to the assessed needs, compared to the required competencies for effective performance. The preferences of the prospective trainees as per the venue, timeframe and methods are given due consideration in the planning phase.

The training/capacity building activities are implemented using learner-centered methodologies to provide a rich learning experience through demonstration, learning by doing, on-the-job training in order to facilitate transfer of the newly acquired knowledge into daily practices.

Peer learning, classroom interaction and networking for long term collaboration is encouraged to achieve sustainable results.
